Spotlight on Process Automation with Nintex Workflow Cloud®

I would like to highlight this solution this month... Various countries have legislation that allows people to access government information in different ways. Here in New Zealand, we allow citizens to make requests for information, Members of Parliament can ask Parliamentary Questions, and the public and press can both ask questions (you may have heard of the term Official Information Act or OIA requests). Such requests provide challenges for many agencies due to unclear or missing information in the request, a lack of clarity on the internal group or team responsible for responding and unclear approval/sign-off processes – all of which can create delays and the potential to miss statutory timeframes for responding. In the video below, Nintex expert Chris Ben will be presenting how government organisations can streamline the process of managing an enquiry and managing customer questions by automating the process. Learn more about how you can use a standardised approach to process management and automate processes like triaging and responding to questions.

I would like to finish off with insight from our General Manager - Malcolm Davidson who has a lot of experience in OIA processes in Government.

“Having worked in central government roles for over 15 years I know first-hand the challenges faced by agencies in managing Official Correspondence requests. The process for managing these requests is often manual and requires many touch points and hand off points, with bottlenecks often forming at key stages, such as sign-off. The Nintex solution helps to streamline and standardise such requests, reducing much of the administration burden, so agencies can focus effort on doing the things that really make a difference.
